<p>Welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit this site. P.U.M.M.A, Queensland's <strong>first </strong>Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy, has produced <strong>National Champions</strong> in <strong>seven different</strong> contact/ring fighting <strong>martial arts</strong>. With a Mixed martial Art history spanning over two decades <strong>P.U.M.M.A is Queensland's premier non classical martial art training academy.</strong> <br/></p>
<p><em>However competition plays only a small part of P.U.M.M.A culture. Being involved in the martial arts since 1980, I have experienced as a student and witnessed as a coach the positive effect that focused training can have on the individual. Achieving goals in one facet of life, if you learn the underlying lessons, will see this success translating into other areas. Getting fit, losing weight, or developing a clever martial art game may have far reaching consequences.</em></p>
<p><em>Whether you are a novice, or a seasoned martial athlete, with two full time academies (Burleigh and Parkwood) and now classes at Tweed Heads, we believe we can design a program suited specifically to your needs.
